The issue you are having with the 0.0.3 pre-alpha build will most likely be caused by the input preferences not being writable, on the Window 0.0.3 pre-alpha build the fix is to right-click the 'Gang Beasts.exe' file and select the 'Run as Administrator' command (to give the game permission to overwrite the preferences), you will still need to map the inputs as there is no support for default device profiles or mappings in the pre-alpha builds.įor reference testing with the pre-alpha builds is not representative of the controller / input support in the current Early Access build as we moved from the previous input framework to a framework that we had been testing concurrently as the previous framework had caused the preference writing issues (in the 0.0.3 pre-alpha), and had other limitations.
